Our team led creative strategy and development for the PayPal account. As the fintech leader underwent a time of transition bringing on a new executive team, they wanted to take the brand in a new direction for voice and tone. Our team helped guide them forward, maintaining straightforward, accessible copy and exploring new territory for the future. My work was primarily B2C, from email marketing to SMS texts, in-app copy, ad campaigns, and landing pages.

I developed copy for PayPal Mastercard promotional emails, content for the PayPal app, and the PayPal Savings customer journey. A major campaign focused on “Shopping smart” with PayPal cash back offers, partnering with popular brands so customers can save as much as possible.

We developed cross-promotional content for the PayPal Mastercard and discounts with major brands like TicketMaster. This campaign focused on payment plans, making it possible for audiences to do what they love — listen to good music, be present, and enjoy the moment. The tagline “Be here. Pay later.” played on the idea of “Buy now, pay later.”
